2025 Main Season Community Supported Agriculture Program
Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) boxes make it easy to get fresh local produce every week. For 28 weeks of the growing season, April 29th - November 4th, we will compile the best assortment of veggies from the farm for you.
Weekly pick ups are Tuesday evenings from 5-8pm, and you can select to either come to the farm in Ridgefield or to our Vancouver pick up location close to Clark College (select your location when you purchase the subscription in our store using the links below). To make sure we have something for every household size, there are three different share options: Veggie Box, Super Salad and Salad Lovers.
With the Veggie Box CSA you will be able to eat your way through a full Pacific Northwest season with abundant greens in the early spring, crisp and juicy summer veggies, and the hearty crops of autumn. Salad and microgreens are the heart of our farm so we always make sure your box has some great salad fixings. Every box will have 6-7 items from the farm and over the season you will see: lettuce mix, beets, radishes, carrots, spinach, broccoli, arugula, salad turnips, snap peas, green beans, fresh onions and scallions, parsley, basil, kale, collards, chard, chicory, new potatoes, heirloom and cherry tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, summer squash, winter squash and a variety of microgreens.
Super Salad shares will receive a 1 lb bag of salad, or Salad Lovers will receive a 6 oz bag of our most beautiful salad greens of the week. These shares will also offer two additional microgreens or other salad greens, and another seasonal salad topping or two (ex: snap peas, beets, carrots, radishes, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers). We will work to rotate your toppings week to week so you can keep your salads fresh and interesting!
Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! Community Supported Agriculture programs support farms with a season-long commitment from our customers so that we can focus more of our energy on the growing, and less on the logistics of selling, during the busiest times of the year. As CSA members you get a season long commitment from us that we will do our very best to fill your bags with abundant, fresh produce all year. Most Community Supported Agriculture farms ask for payment upfront for the entire season and we hope that our weekly payments, and the ability to pause for 5 weeks will help make this more accessible and convenient for you all. If you aren’t ready to commit to the full 28-weeks, we encourage you to try out placing a weekly order through our online store.
-
We utilize a third party online marketing program called Barn2Door for our online sales and CSA subscriptions. When you sign-up by purchasing the CSA subscription item in our store, you will be charged for the first week of the CSA (first pick up is April 29th, 2025). After that, your credit card is set up for auto-payments and will be charged weekly for each subsequent week (unless you elect to use one of your 5 “skip” weeks). You do not have to order the subscription more than one time - it is set up to charge you for all 28 weeks of the season, just one week at a time.
-
We do not offer substitutions for our CSA share members. If you have a particular diet restriction or preference, we encourage you to instead place your own custom weekly order using our online store selecting exactly the items that you would like. You can also find a friend to share your veggies with you - we love spreading around the veggie goodness!

All three of our CSA shares will receive a base of salad and microgreens. Which share size you choose depends on your household size, how much cooking you do, and how much your household members enjoy fresh vegetables. The two salad shares are the same, but you can select a 6oz base salad bag or a 1lb base salad bag. The Veggie Box will also have a 6oz base salad bag, but will have a wider range of additional items than the salad shares.

You can always place an add-on order if you want something additional for that week and we will pack it with your share. Add-on orders must be received online by 8pm the Sunday before pickup. If you order add-ons, we do our best to pack them with your CSA subscription, but please double-check the contents of your bag and the labels to make sure everything is included before you leave.

As a reminder, we offer up to 5 weeks during the main season where you can skip your pick up for no charge that week. Here are the steps:
Log in to your Barn2Door account (that you used to sign up for the CSA).
Find your subscription order, indicated by the circle arrow icon.
Click on the red order number link.
Find the date you want to skip, and click Skip Subscription.
You will need to set up your "skip" at least 6 days prior to the pick up date, so make sure to do this no later than the Wednesday before. You can, of course, set them up well in advance if you know of your travel plans sooner. Finally, you do not have to skip any weeks if you don't want to! If you are out of town your share can be given to friends or neighbors (anyone can pick up the bag) or we can arrange to donate your share to the Ridgefield Gleaners, one of our amazing partners working to provide fresh healthy food to low-income residents and seniors in our community.

Yes! Our farm has a partnership with the Ridgefield Gleaners program. Every week our local gleaners volunteers pick up extra produce from our farm and get it to a network of local food relief programs in the community - primarily starting with the Ridgefield Community Resource Center at the local school district.
-
Yes! Anyone can pick up your share each week. Please make sure to let the person know the details on the time and location of the pick up and make sure they know to only take the bag with your name on it.
-
If you miss the pickup window because you are running just a little bit late it is okay to still come to get your share Tuesday night - please be courteous as two of our pick up locations are also homes. If you missed your Tuesday pick up all together you can come to grab your bag the next day at any time. The food will be most fresh if you pick it up Tuesday, especially as the weather warms (shares will sit out overnight at all pick up locations). Any food not picked up by Wednesday night at 8 pm will be donated to local families through the Ridgefield Gleaners or Vancouver Food Bank, unless you contact us to make other arrangements.
